Bob Armstrong, C.I.T.P, is President
of Armstrong Trade and Logistics Advisory Services Inc. (ATLAS).
On November 1, 2007 Bob was appointed President of Supply Chain
& Logistics Association Canada (SCL). Bob has over 35 years
of experience in the fields of Global Supply Chain, International
Trade, Cross Border Logistics and Customs Regulations and procedures.
Bob Armstrong also served as
President and CEO for the Canadian Association of Importers and
Exporters Inc. for nine years and as President of the Association
of International Automobile Manufacturers of Canada (AIAMC) for
nine years.
Prior experience includes nine
years in Senior Management in the Supply Chain & Logistics
industry and several years in Ottawa with a major Government
Relations Firm and earlier as a Partner of a Major Public Accounting
Firm
Since establishing his own business
in February 2006, Bob has specialized in the marine sector where
he acts as the Project Director for MarineLink,Inc. which is
developing several short sea shipping initiatives to be launched
in 2008. Marinelink is a subsidiary of Upperlakes Group Inc.
and has been established to develop and implement container feeder
services from East Coast into the Great Lakes and other short
sea shipping services such as a cross lake truck ferry service
on Lake Erie (between Canada and the USA).
Bob Armstrong is a well known
national and international speaker, author, and expert on issues
related to International Trade, Cross-Border Logistics, the Global
Supply Chain, and Customs and Security issues. Bob is very active
on the Board of Directors for 6 different industry Associations
such as FITT, IECanada ,the Ontario Chamber of Commerce (Chair,Borders,Transportation
& Infrastructure Committee),HKCBA. Bob also serves on the
Advisory Committee to the Greater Toronto Transportation Authority
In May 2005, Mr. Armstrong was
awarded the prestigious McMillan Binch Mendelsohn Canadian Achievement
Award in recognition of his outstanding contribution to Canada
and to Canada's advancement in International Trade. |

JANET DE SILVA,
CEO, retail China limited, Hong Kong (confirmed)
In September 2007, Janet became
CEO, retail CHINA, a company that launches and operates international
retail brands in China - the world's fastest growing and youngest
middle class consumer market.
Before this she held senior executive
positions with Sun Life Financial in Greater China. Based in
the Mainland from March 2005 to September 2007, she was President,
Sun Life China and CEO, Sun Life Everbright Life Insurance Company.
Under her leadership, the company expanded from 2 to 15 cities
and grew to a workforce of 4,000 people. From December 2000 to
March 2005, as CEO, Sun Life Financial (Hong Kong), she managed
Hong Kong's growth and acquisition activity.
Janet is an active leader in Chinese-Canadian business affairs
through her work as the immediate past Chairman of the Canada
China Business Council, Beijing (2006, 2007) and Chairman and
President of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong (2002-2005).
She holds an MBA from the IVEY School of Business of the University
of Western Ontario and sits on their Asian Advisory Board.
In 2006 she was awarded an honorary doctorate by Thompson Rivers
University in Canada and a guest professor designation by Tianjin
University of Technology in China. She was named Asian Business
Executive in The 2006 Stevie Awards for Women in Business and
one of Canada's Top 100 Most Powerful Women in 2007.
Jan lives in Hong Kong with her husband Yves Therien and their

Simon Galpin joined Invest Hong
Kong in March 2001 as Associate Director-General Investment Promotion;
Simon's Division is responsible for attracting and retaining
foreign direct investment in the following five priority sectors:

and Electronics),

Simon is also responsible for

spent 10 years with Scottish Enterprise (the UK Government's

and Sydney.
Simon has a MBA from University
of Sheffield and an MSc from the University of Glasgow in Local

LENORE GIBSON,
HKCBA National Chair (confirmed)
Lenore Gibson is the National
Chair of the Hong Kong - Canada Business Association. Lenore
has been a member of the HKCBA since 1997 when she joined the
Ottawa section. In 1999, she was elected President of the Ottawa
section and at the same time, joined the National Board of Directors.
Lenore remains an active director of the Ottawa section.
Lenore also volunteers her time
as a director of the Ottawa Dragon Boat Foundation, the charitable
organization of the Ottawa Dragon Boat Festival, the largest
dragon boat festival in Canada. The Foundation was established
in 2004 to help focus and grow the fundraising efforts for the
pledge campaign associated with the annual Festival.
Lenore is the Director, Regulatory
Affairs at CTVglobemedia Inc., CTVglobemedia Inc. is Canada's
premier multimedia company with ownership of CTV, Canadas
#1 television network, and The Globe and Mail, Canadas
#1 national newspaper. CTV Inc. owns and operates 27 conventional
stations across the country, with interests in 35 specialty channels,
including Canadas #1 specialty channel, TSN. CTVglobemedia
also owns the CHUM Radio Division, which operates 35 radio stations
throughout Canada, including CHUM FM, Canadas # 1 FM station.
Prior to joining CHUM in May 2006, Lenore was Legal Counsel at
the Canadian Association of Broadcasters, the national organization
for Canada's private broadcasters, including private radio and
television stations, and specialty, pay and pay-per-view services.

Manford Kwan, is founder and
President/CEO of ASAT Solutions Inc., a company providing Automation
Solutions and Technologies (ASAT) for Electrical Utilities and
Industrial customers, specializing in engineered solutions for
integration and automation of substation protection, control
and measurement systems.
Manford held various senior positions with GE Energy, formerly
Harris/Westronic, including Project Management, Director of Sales
and Marketing (based in Australia) and General Manager of Global
Sales. His 15 year career has been focused on the SCADA market
including EMS/DMS/RTU and Substation Automation projects.
Manford holds a Bachelor of Science
Degree in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Computer Engineering
from the University of Calgary. He is a Professional Engineer
with the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and
Geophysicists of Alberta (APEGGA) and a Member of the IEEE. Manford

Bob Kwauk is the Office Managing
Partner of the Beijing office. He relocated from the Firm's Calgary
office to establish its Beijing office in 1998 and has resided
there since that time. Previous to this assignment, Bob's experience
in China included teaching economics and finance at a University
in Xian in the late 1980s; a secondment to a law firm in Taipei
in the early 1990s; and acting as counsel for a major Africa-based
energy project invested by the national oil company of China
in the mid-1990s.
Bob's practice includes assisting
Canadian and other international companies investing and doing
business in China. He has extensive experience in strategizing,
structuring, negotiating and documenting various transactions,
such as mergers and acquisitions, mining, oil and gas, manufacturing
and technology transfer. He also assists a number of Chinese
corporations in their acquisitions and financing in North America.
Bob speaks extensively in conferences
in China, North America and elsewhere in the world. He has been
a director of Canada-China Business Council in Beijing for the
last six years, three of which he was chairman, as well as a
member of the China Law Advisory Board of Lexis Nexis, a leading
international legal publisher.
Before becoming a lawyer, Bob
was a member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, where he performed
various criminal and national security-related functions in Alberta
and Ottawa. |

PHILIPPE LACAMP,
VP Canada, Cathay Pacific Airways Limited (confirmed)
In his role as Vice President
Canada, Philippe Lacamp oversees all aspects of Cathay Pacific
Airways' operations in Canada.
Lacamp joined the Swire Group,
Cathay Pacific's largest shareholder, in 1992. He started in
Cathay Pacific's Information Technology department in Hong Kong,
followed by a position in Hong Kong Sales, developing niche market
products specifically for the airline's loyalty program. From
1996 to 1998, he served as Assistant Manager, International Affairs
and played an important role in the re-negotiation of all air
service agreements prior to Hong Kong's reunification with China.
From 1999 to 2001, he served as Manager, Cabin Crew Relations,
gaining valuable experience in budget control, communications
and union negotiation. In this capacity, he also oversaw the
expansion of the airline's cabin crew base in Vancouver.
Lacamp has held a number of international
senior management positions with Cathay Pacific including Country
Manager, Sri Lanka and Maldives, from 1998 to 1999 and Country
Manager of France, Spain, and Portugal from 2001 to 2004. He
moved to Vancouver in 2004 where he has worked to raise the profile
of the Canadian operation which has grown significantly over
24 years when it pioneered long-haul transpacific service with
its first non-stop flight between Vancouver and Hong Kong. Today,
Canada plays an important role in the success of Cathay Pacific's
worldwide operations with a strong presence on both East and
West Coasts. |

Adeline Leung is Vice Consul
and Trade Commissioner at the Consulate General of Canada in
Guangzhou. She joined the Department of Foreign Affairs and International
Trade in Ottawa in 2004 working with the China division and has
not strayed from the China region since. She was posted to Taipei
in 2005 and a year later crossed the straits to begin her new
posting in Guangzhou. As trade commissioner in Guangzhou, Adeline
is responsible for the following industries: Bio and Health,
Education, Information Communication Technologies, Transportation
and Urban Rail. She also covers the services sectors. |

Barry Macdonald is the Immediate

Barry was a member of the Canada-China

Mr. Mah is a senior partner of
the law firm of Chomicki Baril Mah LLP of Edmonton, a member
of the Law Society of Alberta, who is also licensed to practice
law in Hong Kong, England and Wales. He is a Knight in the Order
of St. John, a recipient of the Queen's Golden Jubilee medal,
and a Queen's Counsel. A Lieutenant Colonel in the Canadian Forces
Reserves and a member of the Office of the Judge Advocate General,
Mr. Mah is also the holder of the Canadian Forces Decoration
among his many awards.
John Mah has been active with
The Hong Kong-Canada Business Association for many years, having
served as President of the HKCBA Edmonton Section, and then as
HKCBA National Chair from 1998 to 2000.
In July 2007, Mr. Mah was appointed
Chancellor and Chairman of the Board, St. John Ambulance Canada.
He has been a member of the St. John Ambulance Alberta Council
since 1992, the Alberta Board Chair from 1999 to 2004, and then
Deputy Chancellor, St. John Ambulance Canada. He has a wealth
of experience in both charity and community development services
as a former member of the Advisory Board of the Salvation Army
of Canada, as past Governor of the University of Alberta, and
a former trustee of the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation. |

MAYOR STEPHEN MANDEL
City of Edmonton (confirmed)
Since October 2004, Mayor Mandel
has led a city at the heart of a region of more than one million
people that serves as the major transportation, logistics and
manufacturing hub supporting growth in northern Alberta. Mayor
Mandel works closely with his Council colleagues to support Edmonton's
position as one of Canada's most significant healthcare hubs;
one that is an international pacesetter in health innovation,
discovery and education. As Mayor, he has also focused on preserving
Edmonton's role as a global environmental leader, and as a culturally
diverse centre with a passion for the arts and sports. In 2005,
Edmonton was again rated by the Conference Board of Canada as
the national leader in economic growth.
An astute and accomplished businessman,
Mayor Mandel brings 30 years of business and community experience
to City Hall. As President of the privately-held Mandel Group,
he has been involved in business development, residential and
commercial real estate development, construction, as well as
operations of hotels and sports enterprises.
Stephen has also been an active
community volunteer for organizations including the Alberta Heart
Institute, Heart and Stroke Foundation, Jewish Community Centre,
and Allen Gray Continuing Care Centre. He is married, with two
grown children. |

Patricia Mohr is Vice-President,
Economics, at Scotiabanks Executive Offices in Toronto.
Pat is responsible for commodity market research and industry
analysis in Scotia Economics and works closely with Scotia Capitals
Corporate and Investment Banking groups, with International &
Commercial Banking and with Global Risk Management. Scotiabank
is Canadas most international bank, with offices in Hong
Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, Guangdong and Xian and with extensive
operations throughout Asia and Latin America.
Ms. Mohr developed the Scotiabank
Commodity Price Index, which measures price trends for Canadian
commodities in export markets. Pat maintains a close interest
in national and international economic & financial market
developments.
Ms. Mohr holds an Honours B.A.

of British Columbia and originally comes from Vancouver.

as the head of the Civil Service Training & Development Institute;
the Commerce, Industry & Trade Bureau; the Financial Secretary's
Office; the Planning, Environment and Lands Bureau; and the Home
Affairs Department. Prior to that, she was an entrepreneur in
the restaurant business in Massachusetts, and a director of a
social service center in New York City. She received her Master
of Public and Private Management from the Yale University and
her B.A. cum laude in sociology from the University of Massachusetts. |

Following a career in capital markets trading in Toronto, Andrew

Kong to reopen the Bank's Capital Markets business and build
out Royal Bank of Canada's presence in Greater China. Andrew

STEPHEN WONG,

Hong Kong Trade Development Council (confirmed)
Stephen Wong is the Regional
Director of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) for
the Americas. He oversees HKTDC's eight branch offices in North
and South America.
Mr. Wong draws upon his extensive
experience in trade development and promotion in the U.S. and
Asia to create and facilitate opportunities in international
trade between Hong Kong and its trading partners.
Prior to his transfer to HKTDC's
New York Office, Mr. Wong was based in Hong Kong as HKTDC's Director
of Information Services where he spearheaded the Council's extensive
e-commerce initiatives, which included the development of tdctrade.com,
a trade portal that registers a daily hit-rate of over 6 million.
His portfolio also encompassed the organization of business training
programs for enterprises in Hong Kong, and the provision of a
global trade matching and enquiry service. Mr. Wong also held
the positions of Director for Product Promotion and Head of the
Administration Department of the HKTDC while serving in Hong
Kong.

of Saskatchewan and completed the Senior Executive Education
Program at New York's Columbia University. |

ANDREW WORK,
Executive Director, The Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Hong

Andrew Work (B.Sc. 1994 McGill)
has spent 12 years embracing the ferocious pace of life so familiar
with those who know Hong Kong. Eleven years ago he was the first
Membership Director of The Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Hong
Kong. He served on the Executive for the past four years and
became the Chamber's Executive Director in September 2007. During
his time in Hong Kong, he completed his MBA (University of Victoria),
married (Alisha Ma), had two children (coast to coast girls Victoria
and Charlotte-town), won Captain of the Year (Hong Kong Ultimate
Players' Association) and developed an intimate knowledge of
the Lan Kwai Fong Group and Igor's Group product offering. He
also worked in event management and community building for Penton
Media, The Economist, Gorilla Asia and founded a public policy
think tank: The Lion Rock Institute. Hong Kong is his favourite
Canadian city. |

ANDREW YUI,

Hong Kong Trade Development Council (confirmed)
Mr. Yui was appointed as Director,
Canada of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) in
July 1993. HKTDC is Hong Kong's statutory body responsible for
the promotion of the territory's trade in merchandise and trade
in services. The Council's office in Canada (based in Toronto)
is mandated to encourage and assist Canadian companies in doing
business with Hong Kong and with Asia through Hong Kong.
Prior to his present appointment,
Mr. Yui served in a variety of trade promotion posts in Hong
Kong including Assistant Manager of the Hong Kong General Chamber
of Commerce and Attaché commercial of the Québec
Government Office.
Currently, he is a National Board
Director of the Hong Kong-Canada Business Association.
Mr. Yui graduated from the University
of London (U.K.) with a B.A. (Hons.) Degree in 1983. |

John Zimmerman is Consul and
Trade Commissioner at the Consulate General of Canada in Hong
Kong. He joined Canada's Department of Foreign Affairs and International
Trade (DFAIT) in 1997. In 1999 he began his first posting in
the Commercial Section at the Canadian Embassy in Tokyo, where
he served until 2002 covering Natural Resources. After one year
at the Southeast Asia Division at Headquarters in Ottawa, he
was posted to Shanghai where he served until 2006. There he was
Deputy Program Manager in the Trade Section, and his sectoral
responsibilities included Construction & Architecture, Investment,
Mining and Financial Services. Since September 2006 he has served
in Hong Kong as the Deputy Program Manager of the Trade Section,
and is responsible for Investment. His team's responsibilities
include Agriculture & Agri-Food, Transportation, Construction
& Architecture, Culture, Education & Mining.
John has received a Bachelor's
degree (Honours) and an M.A. (Politics) from the University of
Western Ontario. |
