Via a recorded message, Collen Sutton, Consul and Trade Commissioner, Consulate General of Canada in Hong Kong will introduce the Trade Commissioner Service to assist Canadian companies in their preparation for international markets; and Eunice Wong, Trade Commissioner, Consulate General of Canada in Hong Kong will cover the ICT opportunities in Hong Kong and the Canadian Pavilion at the upcoming InnoEx, April 12 – 15, 2023.
Marc Lijour, VP Capacity and Innovation Readiness, Information and Communications Technology Council (ICTC) will share insights and experience of Canadian companies expanding their footprints to Asia.
Christopher Chen, Head of Business & Talent Attraction/Investment Promotion, Invest Hong Kong (Canada) will give an overview of the innovation investment landscape in Hong Kong and its strategic role as an information and communications technology hub.
Adrienne Ho, Marketing Manager, Hong Kong Trade Development Council Toronto Office will invite Canadian companies to leverage the newly revamped InnoEx (formerly known as ICT Expo) as the window of opportunity to diversify their business footprints in Asia.

Teresa is the Director of Asian Banking at CIBC. She is responsible for developing and implementing strategies and tactics which drive Asian client acquisition and consolidation in Canada and Asia. She helps the Canadian frontline and Hong Kong/China Team to build client and community relationships through business development activities. Before joining CIBC, Teresa held a few senior marketing positions in Hong Kong and Canada at Seiko Time (HK), J. Walter Thompson (HK), DeBeers Diamond (HK), and Marks & Spencer (Canada). Teresa is actively engaged in the Asian community. She serves on the board of multiple not-for-profit organizations. She is Vice-President of HKCBA (Toronto), a member of the Board of Governors of Mon Sheong Foundation, an Honorary Advisor for the Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto, and a Steering Committee member for ACCE. Previously, she served on the Board of Directors for CICS, the Board of Directors for Mon Sheong, a member of the YMCA Corporate Development Committee, and a committee member of Asian fundraising for Mt. Sinai Hospital. Teresa is a recipient of Mon Sheong Foundation’s Lifetime Achievement Award, Mon Sheong Foundation’s Excellent Volunteer Service Award, CIBC High Achievers Award, and Ontario Volunteer Service Awards. Emily Mo Director, Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office (Toronto) |
Emily joined the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China in 2001 as a member of the Administrative Officer Grade. In December 2018, she took up the Director post in the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Toronto, the mandate of which is to foster closer economic trade ties between Canada and Hong Kong, and also promote bilateral cultural relations and people-to-people ties. Before that she had worked in different offices, including the Home Affairs Department, the then Environment, Transport and Works Bureau, the Security Bureau, the University Grants Committee Secretariat and the Tourism Commission of the Commerce and Economic Development Bureau. Before coming to Toronto, Emily served as the Deputy Head of the Human Resources Planning and Poverty Co-ordination Unit under the Chief Secretary for Administration’s Private Office to support the Chief Secretary for Administration for monitoring the implementation progress of policy initiatives on human resources planning and poverty alleviation in Hong Kong. Emily received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Hong Kong |

Colleen Sutton currently serves as Consul and Trade Commissioner at the Consulate General of Canada to Hong Kong and Macao, since October 2022, where she leads the investment, financial services, clean tech and ICT team.
Colleen joined the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade in 2009, following work with the International Development Research Council in South Africa in 2007 and the Canadian International Development Agency in Uruguay in 2008. She has a Master’s in Environmental Studies from Queen’s University. During her time at Global Affairs Canada, she has worked in the Geographic divisions covering Latin America and Europe, and was most recently the program manager for the core training for trade commissioners from 2017-2021. She was also posted overseas as vice consul to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (2013- 2015). |

Eunice Wong is the Trade Commissioner responsible for Information and Communications Technology (ICT) sector at the Consulate General of Canada in Hong Kong. Ms. Wong joined the Consulate General of Canada in 1994 and has many years’ experience in trade promotions. She helps Canadian companies assess market potential, provides advice on market opportunities and market entry strategies, as well as facilitates introductions to potential partners and customers in Hong Kong and Macao markets. Before overseeing ICT, she had worked in the same role in the sectors of Construction/Forestry, Arts & Culture, Consumer Products. Prior to joining the Consulate General of Canada, she worked with the US Government as a trade specialist focusing on Southeast Asia market, and with an international trade fair agency organising industrial events in China market. |

Marc Lijour is the Vice-President of the Information and Communications Technology Council (ICTC) and leads Capacity and Innovation Readiness initiatives. Marc started his career in the education sector before joining leading IT companies, such as Cisco Systems and ConsenSys, to accelerate the digital transformation across all industries.

Solid understanding of operations behind digital business units (regulatory, finance, business modeling, call center, analytics). Skills include digital marketing, new business development, and campaign/platform development. |

Adrienne joined the Toronto office of HKTDC in 2018. HKTDC is Hong Kong's statutory body responsible for promoting international trade (imports and exports) in merchandise, services, and technologies via the Hong Kong platform. The Council works through a network of 50 offices worldwide. In Canada, the HKTDC Branch Office, based in Toronto, was established to encourage and assist Canadian companies in diversifying their business to Asia through Hong Kong. HKTDC Toronto Office has joined forces with like-minded multiplier partners like Hong Kong Canada Business Association, Hong Kong Economic Trade Office, and many others in staging Canadian missions to Hong Kong international trade fairs and conferences. |

Joseph is the Founder and President of C4P Inc which is specialized in product design and project development, sales and marketing of innovative products especially those in the green and alternative energy sector. With more than 30 years of experience in the product design and development industries in North America, Asia and Europe, Joseph has successfully worked with many inventors and designers in developing many new products. Joseph has also been actively involved in many business and volunteer organisations. He is the President of the Hong Kong-Canada Business Association (HKCBA) GTA Toronto Section which actively assists Canadian companies in doing business with Hong Kong and through Hong Kong with other Asian countries. He is the Founder and Immediate Past President of the Oakville Chinese Business Association, the Co-Chair of the Mississauga Community Crime Awareness Day Event for many years and a Board Member of the Mississauga Chinese Business Association. He is currently a committee member of the Peel Region Police Chief’s Advisory Committee, and a Director of Safe City Mississauga. As a Director of the Product Innovation Technology Advisory Committee, Humber Institute of Technology & Advanced Learning, Joseph supports many Canadian university/college graduates in their start-up projects and business. He is a professional mentor for many Canadian industrial design graduates assisting and encouraging them to promote their inventions to the World. Joseph has received many recognitions including a Canada Senate 150th Anniversary Medal, the 2019 Most Progressive Award from ACCE (Association of Chinese Canadian Entrepreneur). He was also invited by the Canadian Federal Government to join the Team Canada to China in 2015 led by then Prime Minister Steven Harper. He was also invited by the Ontario Government to join the Innovative Industrial Missions to Japan and Korea in 2015, 2017 and 2019. |
